Just in case you thought Santa wasn’t coming to the boys from Den Haag GAA club, they spotted him in the skies above Barcelona on November 3rd while enjoying their post tournament bathe and had a word with him….

Ceiliúradh le Chéile is a combined party to celebrate playing host to the Leinster Special Junior Club Hurling Championship Away Final between Killurin and Europe hurling teams (match played that day in Den Haag, click here for more), as well as the end of year and Christmas parties of Den Haag GAA Club, Holland Ladies GAA Club and the Irish Club ~ The Netherlands.

Ceiliúradh le Chéile means "celebrate together" as gaeilge, and that is exactly what we are going to do! This event promises to be the party of the year, and what better way to bring 2007 to a close? During the day we will play host to the Leinster Special Junior Club Hurling Championship Away Final between Killurin from Offaly and County Europe - a team comprising the finest hurlers on mainland Europe. The biggest Irish Christmas party in The Netherlands will begin at 7pm, where you will be greeted with a complimentary drink upon arrival. Dinner will be a three course affair (main course buffet style). As is tradition at these affairs, a cúpla focal will need to be said, once the speeches are over, you will be entertained by Big Deal - a five piece cover band that have promised to get us all dancing. When the band finishes, a DJ will help us make sawdust out of the dancefloor and keep us going until the wee wee hours of the morning. There will also be a prize raffle during at some stage during the night and you'll delighted to know that all of this is included in the ticket price!
